Curse on hit with totem
Enemies don't get hit by the curse when I have this configuration of skills in my armor:
1 2 4 3 1-spell totem 2-flame dash 3-flammability 4-curse on hit I get the curse on hit added it, but the enemies don't get flammability. Even if I remove flammability my flame dash totem has the curse on hit support symbol '&'. Why is it not working? Dernier bump le 25 mars 2016 à 20:09:41

Working as intended. The Skill that is linked to your Curse only creates a Totem - the Skill used by the Totem does not have any linked Curses.

" This logic always seemed fishy to me. Most supports wouldn't work with totems that way, but I'm pretty sure gems like Fire Penetration and Greater Multiple Projectiles work fine with totems. If in fact "the Skill that is linked to your [support] only creates a Totem," why would FPen or GMP work? A Totem isn't a Projectile. The act of placing a Totem deals no Fire Damage. Need game info? " According to wiki, the tool tip says it can, but curse on hit is not support by traps, minions, totems etc. A bit random if you ask me |

" If we just stick to 'totems use your skill using your offensive stats' and no further than that, the logic is solid, a totem would just use the snapshot of the skill with your stats, it doesn't have your gems, items or buffs. The last one is evident in case of heralds, it gets the stat bonus but it doesn't actually have the herald buff active so it doesn't get the on kill effect, so by that logic it wouldn't have anything equipped or socketed either. Support gems add properties directly to the skill, not to you and then from you to the skill, that's why they work with something like minions. Kinda makes sense if we're being really stiff about it, but even if it made not even a shred it's their rule so that, as they say, is that. The way I look at it is that when GGG try to design such complicated game mechanism they kind of have trouble finding the precise vocabulary and grammar to express things in a few words.
