controlled destruction+elemental oerload
hello
seems like i dont understand there something. i see a lot of build which are using both of them, but why should that work? cant u crit after using controlled destruction? for example, im using incinerate which has a 0 critchance anyway, so controlled destruction wont affect it, but i see builds even with incinerate who gies for elemental overload. can someone explain in words a noob will understand? ty Dernier bump le 24 mars 2016 à 12:11:54

That 100% reduce crit chance is global. Lets say your crit chance without that gem is 34% and your spell's base crit is 5%, so with controlled destruction your crit will drop from 34% to 29%.

" It's 100% reduced not less, so yes, you can crit. " You can crit with different skill. Anticipation slowly dissipates...

Both posters have spelled out exactly how the mechanics work. If your build cannot use it then that's fine. If you cannot mentally wrap your head around this concept then try harder or don't ask questions here. |

" feel free to leave this thread if ur to pro , thx, its combination of my bad english and the mechanik i got a pm , if i understant it right its: if i fight a boss for example, all lay a orb of storm which has a base of 5 % crit and takes 10 sek, in that time i hope it will du a crit and so my incinerate provides of ot right? |
