Europe got new options, could we get a Tokyo server?

There aren't many options for Asia. I know Garena is big in Asia, but it's Singapore/Malaysia not Japan right? Softlayer has datacenter(s) in Tokyo.

American expat in Japan here - Yes, I would love a Japanese, or at least 'Asian' gateway as well!

I would be down for some Japan PoE servers as well!

I am in Japan too, but Tokyo server is not a good option as an Asian gateway in general, mostly because very slow connections to China. If they get a server in Japan, they need to get a server for China too.

Getting 98-100 ping in current Singapore server, but feels sluggish and most of time I have spikes in connection speeds.

123-125 ping California server is better, but the game goes to predictive mode, which is not good in my opinion.

A strong Hong Kong server on the other hand is probably a better option.
They have fast connections to mainland China, also I am getting 45-65 pings to several providers (one of them is Softlayer), which will be good enough to play in lockstep mode.

Second the Hong Kong suggestion. SG gateway is just so overloaded and HK has fast infrastructure. We need more gateways in Asia. No-one cares abot Garena and many outright loathes the company! In anycase, SEA is only a tiny part of Asia. What about the rest of North Asia????

I hate to bump posts, I really do.
But I am wondering if anyone in GGG will comment about whether they are in the market for a new Asian server or not, and if they will ditch the current Singapore server.
