Life Gain on Hit not adding up correctly
I was looking at my damage tooltips today and it looks like there may be something wrong with how life gained on hit is being calculated.
I have 2 piece is gear with life gain on hit and one jewel with life gain on it. You can look at my character AwainSpins for the details but basically i have "+4 life gained for each enemy hit by your attacks" on my amulet "+2 life gained for each enemy hit by your attacks" on my one jewel "+3 life gained for each enemy hit by attacks" on my weapon However with those 3 mods my tooltip reads "6 life gained on enemy hit". It looks like the life on hit from my weapon is not being counted for some reason. Also i find it interesting that the text string is slightly different on the weapon. Are they slightly different mods somehow? The issue i am seeing is definitely coming from my weapon since if i unequipped my amulet and jewel i have 0 life on it on any of my tool tips even with my weapon equipped. The wording is different, I'm not entirely sure but it might be that attacks using the weapon it self will bestow upon you that +3 life on hit where as attacks (gems) not using that specific weapon won't.
IE: One mod might be a localized effect and the other might be a global effect. Yeah that is what i was thinking as well but the leach doesn't even show up in the auto attack tooltip. I should be able to see it somewhere right?

Yep. Same here.
An hour or so again I had a +3 and a +10 from claw implicits, only showed as +2 in the character sheet. And now it doesn't even show in the character sheet at all, nor appears to be working. any updates regarding this issue?
I can confirm that 'life gained on hit' is not working just tested it with my claws against one of the bandit lords.. one on one and I gained no life at all from hits |

Getting pretty restless over this. I have to use way worse claws than I found in Warbands because the awesome ones that have LGoH are doing nothing for me.

I e-mailed support about this (and ele leech). Got a pretty standard reply about looking into it. I thanked the rep. A reply was better than silence, though I didn't see a "We're aware of this problem" at all -- and I still can't find a single person on Reddit who will say, "Why, yes, I am also having this issue!" which is bizarre to me. Are people just not clawing?

Bump. Although now I ask: Are anyone's claws seemingly still working even though the mod doesn't show up? I didn't notice a survivability difference when I switched to 2% leech ones, but I think that's just because I'm wearing The Anvil and have regen. It would be nice if the bug was only visual, but that's probably just wishful thinking based on other issues posted here.
I also just noticed that the wording is slightly different, as OP pointed out. |
