Rhoa armors and items...Lore question

A simple question to the people knowing a little about POE lore:

It seems to me Rhoa skulls and bones are very strong to be able to knock and stun stuff around and yet I never seen any weapon/armor items made of rhoa s bones.

No rhoa skull helm, no roah bones shields or bone maces. Is there s reason why People on the island never used this material?

I mean it seems to be easy to find for the natives and a cheap material.
Does the Lore say something about why Rhoa Bones are not used?

Or maybe it is and I don t know it?!

they are birds of some sort. their bones might be a lot more brittle.
I need more purple titles
Isn't it spelled Rhoa?

That would have been my guess, but then there is those bones roah able to do 1k+ phy damages on a full armored exile when they charge.

I see your point, yet I wonder if this

or this

Is really better than animal bones, particulary Rhoa s one.

At least for low level weapons I think rhoa bones could be used

For example American Indians used jawbones from Buffalo to create weapons.

A Jawbone club weapon was constructed out of the jawbone of a buffalo or a horse. The Plains Native Americans would sharpen the hitting edge of the weapon while leaving the teeth inside the jaw bone intact. The jawbone club was used as a close combat weapon and had the ability to cut through the chest of an opponent.

Maybe it is just easier for the native to open chest or look under a rock and find full armors and steel swords :D

Or maybe Rhoas are sacred animals and none want to kill them but the Exiles?

Great pic. Did you make that?
I'm more into botanical drawings, but this anatomical view of a Rhoa is just great.
One horn would be a "cornu", though, "cornua" being plural.

Those Bone Rhoas seems to be stronger than the ones with flesh and blood. I wonder why. :o
