Got a quick question, is this build still viable for mapping? I'm looking for a quick clear toon to do breaches because my only other viable toon is a totem berz which isn't that effective.
I'm trying the first build out, but even with a tabula dmg while leveling seems quite underwhelming and survivability isn't surprising either. Looks like acts 5-10 would be really painful, and looking at how the yellow gear is costed to be efficient it seems it might be cheaper to just copy some QotF wander build. Is there sth I am missing? I just want a toon to do maybe up to T11-T13 maps quickly and without investing tons of exalts into crafting/buying rares to make the build work. |

Yes red maps viable with very fast speed using devotos, QOTF, and atziris step. Then for boss fight swtch to rare high hp eva helm, kaoms, nicely evasion rolled flask and lastly carry cwdt lvl1 + warlords mark. Facetank minotaur with the same strategy using ts only but i make sure ice golem is always up to hit atleast 90% accuracy for continues life leech and minimal missed shots. |

Just started with PoE. So Noob and my first char. But I think PPAD gem is not good for TS.
Slower Projectiles does more damage according to PoB. Increased bleeding/poison is not needed in this build. Slower projectiles decreases projectile speed, PPAD decreases attack speed - the rest is the same. So Slower Projectiles gem seems better to me. Maybe different with Far Shot from Lion Bow - but the projectiles are not that slow. @Flasks: Im not that high (86). I use 2xLife flask, Atziris Promise, Stibnite (has +movement and reduced charges) and one Jade Flask (reduced charges+ movement). Without mana leech you'll need a Mana flask. Mandatory is something against bleed, ideally a life potion (Staunching). Also one against freeze. Somthing stun and poison is good too. Depends a little bit on the build. I use queen of the forrest so jade flask is good, as it adds a lot of evasion and movement. Instead of Blink arrow you could also use Lightning warp + support gems(Faster casts, Less Duration and Swift Affliction - not all are needed with high quality). It doesn't teleport directly but it doesn't have a cooldown like blink arrow. No clone like with blink - but no 3 sec cooldown. So when you get stunned/freezed you could just teleport away until the debuff is off. Dernière édition par Kindergar1en#3376, le 9 oct. 2017 à 17:22:45

For the tornado shot raider build...
I have been torn between running the drillneck quiver and the signal fire. Does anyone else have an opinion on which is better for this build? I swap between the two so much and can't figure out for the life of me which one is better. |

Hi, is there a leveling tree for build 2? Or can you give me any advice?
I guess crit nodes are bad choices at the start. Thanks! |

Quiver: Signal fire still hands down for huge DPS, but if you going for deadeye then Drillneck has its own advantage for fast clearing by its pierce. On the otherhand if you could find a rare with high hp 80-90+, crit chance, critmulti, wed, accuracy, flat pdps or and edps that can come close to Signal Fire DPS well that will be game changer. |
|
|
Well the reason I ask is because with the signal fire you do see the massive DPS gain that it gives, with +35% added. But with the drillneck you have a 50% added damage that is not shown in the total DPS because of the penetration requirement. It also has more evasion and attack speed, so to me it seems like the better option but when switching between the two I can't really get a decisive conclusion.

but you are not doing full conversion then?

|
This is true. It becomes a partial phys damage build. Is that ultimately the other big reason the signal fire is better?
