Chris is responding way too much on Reddit

Chris has posted about a dozen messages on Reddit in the last 24 hours. This is really not cool. Chris should be answering questions on the official forums, not on [Removed by Support]. I'm sick of it. I check this website for information about Path of Exile, I don't want to check that other one too. Also recently a redditor stole someone's dog and posted on Reddit about it.

You do realize that Chris is a person as well as a developer of PoE, right?
As a regular person, who probably enjoys reddit, why is he not in his right to casually talk about and answer questions about a game he is developing on a site he likes to visit? You are under no obligation to visit reddit. Grow up. "I would have listened... I would have understood!" - Scion

I have been mentioning this reddit issue for a long time only to be reassured via Chris that he still messages here but finds reddit easier to have a quick dash and chat, which has constantly irked me. If this dash and chat option is such a issue why can't this website have it? I have suggested before that if reddit is so great why can't this site have more links to reddit, it would be good for business, make it official Chris! cheers Conan: Crush your enemies. Outsourced: the forums [ reddit ], the trade [ poe.xyz ], the build planning [ poebuilder.com ], the MTX search and find [ Procurement ]. resync [ autohotkey /oos ], etc etc etc. I always wonder what's going to be done by a 3rd party next.... Disagree with the pre edit tone of the OP, but agree with the underlying point;
This should be the main source for PoE information, not reddit. As with the guy above, I've raised the issue to Chris and got pretty much the same response as he did. As before, my response to that is that if there are things about Reddit that make it a better place to have discussions, then implement those things here. I don't want to be a part of the reddit community just to stay afloat on PoE stuff. |

I do agree that the devs should be posting more stuff here first and foremost before reddit. This is the main website for the game as well as the main forums that they setup, and where most players would naturally, logically think to go when they want updated news and information and not reddit. Of course, when royal shitstorms of QQ and other things go down here, I can completely understand why this place would want to be avoided, but better moderation and forum organization would go a long way to helping with that. Granted, wouldn't solve every problem, but would be a step in the right direction.

The other 9% are stupid unoriginal, unfunny memes from people trying to copy 4chan and failing at it.
