Mansion in the mist (Bug when reattempting)

I died on attempting a map with this quest.

After reattempting the map that I died on, the next map which the mist goes (new map) shows that MAP ATTEMPTED prompt and I couldn't apply any tablets. Guess I failed at an attempt to collect the wisp(and the quest altogether), but I didn't expect the other map nodes to be affected.
