Between Sign of Purpose losing its purpose and the weakish spellsurge talents I'd dare say anything a hiero can do with brands an inquisitor can do better.

Probably the only time I'd go Hiero Brand would be with Archmage + Indegon.

Inquisitor for Crit build (duh)

Elementalist can pick up Discord Artisan for 1 point with Intuitive Leap

Necromancer can get the most cast speed (for brand activation) and defenses with Bone Offering + Glancing Blows.

Thread of Hope is very nice in the Templar region, since it can pick up quite a few great nodes.

I can get you my WIP PoB in the meantime. It's built to support pretty much any brand skill, though I don't know how viable it'll be for some of them (wintertide in particular).

update:
Still experimenting but it's kinda decent for clear and bossing now.

Gems:
Penance Brand - Faster Casting - Spell Echo - Swiftbrand - Lightning Penetration - Archmage (can swap if you want)

Probably grab all the 2 point jewel sockets or for good cluster jewel for the final levels.
Amulet anoint should be Force Shaper until i figure out something better.
