Channel Map Terracotta Soldiers Stuck

Location is the channel map the large room with the many terracotta soldiers and a sarcophagus to activate them in the middle. Typically there is an abyss pit in this room which causes the terracotta soldiers to move before activating the sarcophagus. I've had multiple times where the soldiers move so far away that activating the sarcophagus in the center of the room never activates the soldiers so they are permanently invulnerable.
