Feedback after 600 hours between .1 and .2
Off the rip, I really like the game. I enjoy the art, sound, music, combat, variety of ascendencies, dialogue and the general gameplay. I am happy to keep playing. Below I will make a list of things I would personally like to see improve going forward. FWIW, I have about 9k hours in POE 1
1) I think the idea of movement speed penalty for armor is outdated and actively hurts the overall experience. I understand there are bits of thematic elements and maybe even some immersion. But it feels bad that your choice of armor makes your character movement feel bad. 2) Speed debuffs(temp chains, hinder etc) are too potent. I think they could be reduced by 50% and it would accomplish the design goal while not feeling overly punitive. Most of us won't run temp chains maps. I think Mark mentioned this, but the amount of kiss/curse attack speed nodes on the warrior side is a bit absurd 3) Meta craft omens are still restrictively rare. It makes no economic sense for most players to use them if they get lucky enough to find them. One of the reasons crafting feels so anemic is the best you can do is get your 3 mod item and then you have to pray. Until more crafting options are available, we need to be more free to use the meta craft omens 4) Too many maps have small obstacles which impede movement and just feel annoying(Crypt for example and maps with random pots next to elevation changes) 5) It would be nice on Cleansed maps if the one that has the Fury boss was marked. Having to hover over each cleansed map to find it is quite annoying 6) After doing hundreds of hours of waystones, I really feel like white bases for accessories should drop more. Current crafting is very attrition based, we need more pulls on the machine for certain item types 7) Vaaling T15 to get t16...the chance feels way too low. I think it would be nice to revisit this. It feels 1 out of 10-15ish and I really think it should be 1 out 5 of or max 1 out of 8 I intentionally didn't mention balance or "lack of content". I know the game is in EA and given that I believe .2 is a large step forward, I know a lot of the issues with the game with be solved via iteration Dernière édition par Dairu81#7948, le 2 mai 2025 à 11:10:56 Dernier bump le 28 avr. 2025 à 19:46:26
