Is there a way to do this focusing on ES instead of life? Because of the ES recharge and the Occultist Ascendancy? While doing curse on hit?

Didnt try Occu for a long time (since 2.3) but I doubt theres currently a way to gain ES as fast as you can gain life. I would be happy if Im wrong. I also tried CoC Discharge life based with Scions baby Slayer and baby Assassin. It was decent but even with Slayers leech it cannot compare to Kingsguard.

I've played occultist quite a lot recently on my low life freezing pulse build, and I can confirm Rico's doubts - there's no way to get ES as fast as this build can gain life with kingsguard.

Low life or CI mjolner is dead. It just cannot survive without old vaal pact. The single target damage isn't high enough to melt tanky bosses/red beasts/etc so you have to be able to survive, and only kingsguard makes that possible.

Rico, have you tried a crit mjolner build with legacy Acuity instead of (or in addition to) kingsguard? Might be some potential there despite the anti-synergy crit has with the mechanics.

I tried low meele crit, high spell crit, life based Inquisitor Mjolner with Molten Strike / L. Strike in 3.5. It wasnt any better than this Witch. however I must be honest I did run it with Inyas so no frenzy charges. That said it felt much less powerfull in both single target and clear speed especially. Beacon of Ruin with all 3 Heralds is really amazing.

You're close to 1 mil Shaper DPS (currently 800k). What you can do to reach almost 1 mil (960k) is:

1) Use Arcane Surge on switch for 15% more DPS buff that last ~40 sec
2) Use Atziri Promise flask with 15% roll on ele
3) Use Wise Oak flask with 15% roll on penetration

All is easy and basically 0 cost improvements.

If u do so I will ask you for a favour: Try to record T16 Mino fight with this setup and than post a vid here in this thread. If Im not mistaken you shouls be able to kill him within 14 secs.

EDIT: Ah you have 6 Power and 6 Endu charges. Im not sure you will need that much. I would suggest removing 4 points from the tree and use it for more life or attack speed as 5 Molten APS for a 19% CDR belt seems to be a bit to low. That should still give you 940k Shaper with those few changes mentioned above.

Is it worth to use wildfires (jewels) for two slots? And how many charges are optional for this build? I got +1 frenzy charge on my voll's so i think i will skip the extra frenzy charge from my tree.

what about to use blood rage with cwd or enfeeble works better with this build?

Wildfire is limited to 1 and you can read about it in the guide.

Frenzy charges you need as much as you can. Endurance and Power 4/4 is good enough, 5/5 is maximum I would go.

Anyone managed to kill U-Elder on witch version? How it feels comparing to Jugg version? I'm thinking about respecing my witch once again...

Getting another set of gear for witch will be expensive. At least now... (Mathil effect involved?)

Hey Rico I will record a video when I get a chance but why is 5/5 the most charges you will go? Isn't it better to have more charges to heal and discharge? Or is attack speed better? Will having 5.5 aps really make much of a difference for me?
