May we buy league rewards?

Hello everyone!

I'm posting it here because there is a thing that keeps bugging me. I really like and want to have some league rewards that passed away now. And obiously I can't have them. I'm familiar with GGG's policy about league rewards, BUT! Do we really need league rewards never available to everyone who didn't win them in the league? GGG says that allowing all players to buy league rewards would be unfair towards players who won them in the fair struggle. I disagree with such a view and here is my point.

Firstly, if you ask me, I completely don't care if someone enters the shop and buys something I completed 12-36 challenges for. People won't stop playing leagues if you start selling challenge rewards. Most of them need fun and interesting new mechanics and lastly rewards.

Secondly, I don't suggest to start selling league rewards along with the start of the league. That would be too much. You can make that challenge MTX will be accesible via shop 6-8 months later after league ends. Or you can sell them exclusively during 2-3 days per 3 months as example. And I also agree if they cost more than regular MTX. So winning a reward or buying it for large cost after 6-8 months - feels fair comparison to me.

In the end, this way all of us wins: GGG gets more money, players get the opportunity to buy MTX they for some reason couldn't win.

I want you guys to answer two questions:

1. Will you feel unfair if some league rewards you won becomes available via shop?

2. Would you like to buy some league rewards wich you missed?

Only, and ONLY, if the bought item is a completely different colour, and that's consistent across all bought challenge MTX's. Maybe all gold with bigass rays coming out of them, or something.

First, if GGG state the rewards will be exclusive then later go back on their word, I will feel lied to. Fair? It’s one thing for them to change their mind, but if it’s about them selling something...




Secondly, at the moment they’re releasing new MTX basically every day. It’s not like the store is an empty, barren wasteland that desperately needs an injection of more MTX. I’m quite happy to see them working on giving us more choice as I think that’s a pro-consumer (if beneficial for them, too) thing for them to do. My point is I think the store is doing okay as it is.



Thirdly, I think it paints the company in a very good light that there’s MTX they create which they never attempt to sell. You could ask if they’re indirectly making GGG money by keeping people playing for longer - and sure, there’s definitely an argument to be had there, but still. Despite spending thousands on the game, this matters to me. It warms my heart to see them not being greedy.

No. None. They’re status symbols. Really, most of them aren’t particularly brilliant MTX that are irreplaceable - but I like using earned MTX when they suit the look I’m going for. I have no desire to see them be robbed of the only thing that makes them special.

That would be stupid and unfair imo to buy league rewards. But GGG care only about mtx sales atm, so I wont be shocked if that will be possible someday.

If I can buy league rewards, I won’t be dedicating half as much time as I am in the leagues now. and my interest in the game would probabaly wane with time as I buy all these league rewards. What is not earned is seldom treasured. While u might see league rewards as simply alternative mtx, to some others they are badges of honour.

Whats the point of that? Everything good in life is earned. I could buy every MTX and not bat an eyelash but I'll never have what some dedicated people did. Thats pretty cool if if ask me

PS: they should bring back HC special MTX too for the extra effort

Yeah if I could just buy the league rewards then their would be no reason at least for me to play the league.
