Hyaon's Theory Craft

Hello. I tend to be in and out of the community. Recently, I have been helping Twitch Streamers who are brand new to POE. While helping them, I have been theory crafting again. I dont have any plans of returning (at this time) but, perhaps some of my ideas could be used again.

I know in the past when I was shooting for build of the week, some people were able to take pieces of the theory, and make new builds out of it.

One of the builds I was working on prior to my recent vacation was a Dual Wield Hyaon's Fury build. With the new items, and passives since I last played, the build is able to get more interesting I think. I am not entirely sure if this will work so please go easy on me.

The idea was to make use of the small physical damage on Hyaons. It's not to buy bleed damage.

Gratuitous Violence says "Bleeding enemies you kill explode dealing 10% of their maximum health as physical damage". If I am understanding this correctly then the only condition is that they are bleeding. It doesn't matter which type of damage kills them.

To further the AOE I was looking at Herald of Thunder. "If you kill a shocked enemy, lightning bolts will strike enemies around you for a short duration". It sounds like the same thing as Gratuitous Violence.

The AOE is only one portion of this theory craft. The idea is to have the option of using the increased damage against bleeding targets (if you have enough points).

I do recognize that getting damage for Lightning is a little more difficult because there isn't a Unique Jewel Equivalent of Cold Steel for Lightning.

I was looking at Call of the Brotherhood. "40% of Lightning Damage Converted to Cold Damage" sounds like this applies to it. If it does then you can use Cold Steel, and make use of the Dual Wield nodes by the start.

For the skills, I was thinking Frenzy for single target (to ensure Hyaon's trigger), and Cyclone or Dual Wield for AOE.

That is the short version of the build. Was I correct? Thoughts? Opinions?
