Damn near unplayable here too, only spent 10 bucks so far but not wasting more till they get a decent hosting service, it all goes to crap as soon as it hits their softlayer (networklayer.com):



24% packet loss is a little bit retarded for gaming.

After I DL'd last patch, 10.1c iirc, I get DC every few minutes. After I dl the patch, all my options were reset to default as well. Its annoying as all hell.
I didn't really have any DC problems the last month or so, but after that patch, its unplayable.
Haven't really heard much by way of solutions, and I'm about to quit. Which would figure because I just dropped $10 for new stash slots.

Horrible lags here too. Making it really frustrating. I could never play in hardcore with these crappy servers.

I was getting the lag issue, but then I disabled the windows Aero theme and they went away. Something they did with the most recent patch may have caused some sort of conflict with Aero. Try disabling yours and seeing if it helps.

My lag is not too bad, latency usually around 200 - 300, which is semi playable. Unfortunately I start getting massive spikes, especially in peak hours, common spikes of 700 ms with the odd one of up to 1.6 s. I play hardcore and am unfortunately getting fed up with this game. I have lost 3 characters to lag spikes and 1 to a server error when I got removed from hardcore while in town...

Have spent some money on this game but thinking of moving on. The hours of game time I have lost in hardcore characters because of lag is getting too high... and I don't want to play softcore.

I have tried all 3 servers.
Average ideal latencies to each are about:
Europe: 200
America: 320
Singapore: 525

I live in South Africa.

Massive lag since latest patch. I was gone for a few days due to a busy work and family life. Then i get back on an log in. It takes about 5 minutes to log in and i'm wondering if everything is as it should be. I log off and try again and still 5 minutes to just log in. Well i think, normally it takes me like 30 seconds to log in which is a long time to begin with (if you ask me).

So i log on my 64 HC char and go to farm and i almost get killed by the first pack due to lag. I managed to get away and port back to town.

So i think i'll just lay off PoE untill this thing gets fixed.

Need to fix their network.

I keep getting disconnected, makes it hard to finish Solaris Temple, because I get disconnected like every 20 minutes.

- Had a ping window open on my secondary monitor
- There is an occasional packet loss on my connection, and PoE kicks me out when that happens (we're talking like 4 sequential ping packets, then up again)
- This does not affect other games that I am playing

Yea the game is still broken. I thought today after installing a small window's update maybe it would fix the lag/unplayable issues here at Poe and at first for the first hour the game was running better then it has in the last 3 days but.. of course at exactly 5:30 pm the game became unplayable once again almost dieing due to a lag spike barley logging out in time. So much for thinking it wasn't the game's fault it's not operating properly.
