This isn't like Pokémon, where you gotta catch em all. The point is to get gear which makes you more effective, not diverse. Trash affixes are a waste of what could otherwise be something very good. If you enjoy items just for their diversity (as opposed to their usability), then great, but you're probably a minority and there are other games much better suited for that.

Maybe zombie's wil run in fear when u come walking in there dungeon flarring up 3 screens away with light! +200% increased light radius anybody? (niche build obviuesly :-P)

i think im fully aware of what happens when more affixes is introduced , i just don't believe that getting items with a smaller affix pool makes for a better time. if you keep the powerlevel lower on items then you won't demand as high expectations from drops .

playing a lowfantasy roleplaying game makes you happy when you get a full plate , playing a high fantasy roleplaying games makes you put it in your infinite bag of holding for generic selling when you get to town .

I foretell this may be a prerequisite before they boost the orb drop rates in order to promote crafting.

This is my opinion, but there has been a lot of complaining about crafting and how trading is the better/best way to acquire gear. I really hope this is the case.

Remove thorns affix plz

Perhaps they plan on releasing "dark maps" where you can only see a small radius around your character.
Or even maps where monsters are unable to be damaged unless they are hit by light.
Basically Im saying light radius mod is useless unless something like this is implemented.
