My chieftain build with holy flame totem in Legion

Main skill
holy flame totem-> increased critical strikes - > elemental focus->
infused channeling-> multiple totems ->added fire damage

aura:
- zealotry
- herald of ash
- herald of thunder

With blood magic you can spam totems all the time,
when u fire up totem then you are immune to freeze and chill
because helmet.
with holy flame totem you are immune to curses.



Item price: it is cheap build, items cost no more the 20c in league
when u use cerberus limb and lioneye's remorse

Sceptres I crafted cost me 4 exalted each, and 6-link covenant cost 60c.

I managed to finish easy 39/40 challenges.

The covenant (chest) have blood magic to socketed skills so totems cost life.

Auras have 100% reserved mana.

Curse and movement flame dash is casting with blood magic gem connected.

How tanky is this build in higher maps? (T14+)

Is this also mistake forgiving? I dont know any dangerous mechanic so i stand in bad stuff sometimes ;-)

Could you also add a t16 map clear if possible please?

Sure. Build is very tanky. U set totems and just move around with flame dash.
I prepared few more maps to show how easy is to play with holy flame totems.

I do not recommend this for hardcore cuz u sometimes just die :)

any changes when using this as a leaguestarter? ( no covenent , atleast no 5l/6l early on ).

Maybe get blood magic on the tree early on before a 5linked covenent is affordable?
If yes which aura has priority to use? ( its only 1 aura with bloodmagic , maybe a second one when using the aura has no reserved mana ring )
What should be better: a cheap 6l rare with life/some resistances or a 5linked covenent?

Most of the time I use for 20c ->

zealotry > herald of ash > herald of lighting

u can disable herald of lighting if u want to use mana instead of life

u can use ring for zealotry or anger, but it was no good for me (tested)

it is better cheap 6l rare and use blood magic gem for fast casting totems then 5l covenant

Hi there bud, nice build!. May I ask you something? Isn't it better to go with herald of purity or arctic armour instead of herald of thunder?. Also, wouldn't be better to use a +1 totem shield instead of using either Lioneye's Remorse or 2 scepters? I'm pretty sure it would be a huge defense boost without losing that much of dps. Thanks in advance!

Sure u can use arctic armour instead of herald of thunder it is good solution but remember about dexterity, I could only use 10lvl arctic armour.

Lioneye's Remorse gives me boost life and armour which is good for tanking but hey if u find cheap good shield with +1 totems with life then why not :)
Lioneye's Remorse is just cheap as league starter build and u dont die often.
