[3.24] Scourge Arrow Poison Prolif Pathfinder - Fast, fun to play

EDIT: I figured it out.

I'm playing a pathfinder scourge Arrow poison but CI instead of Life using darkscorn + incandescent Heart to reduce 1/4 of phys and ele damage taken while being immune to Chaos damage.

How do you rate your build compared to any Tornado Shot build out there ?

I mean, clearing speed vs boss damage. You think it is better for boss killing ?


I would appreciate if you could take a look at my character progression and give me some tips.

I don't think its really comparable to Tornado Shot in clear speed, because well, Tornado Shot is Tornado Shot :d Even though SA can have very similar spread, you still have to charge it, where for TS, you dont need to (and also, on TS mirage archer ofc casts a lot faster, because on SA build, MA needs to fully charge SA before shooting it).

For boss damage, SA will alway be way better than Tornado Shot, and this build has pretty decent DPS (for poison build) imo.

Anyway, I somehow broke my OBS after arch linux update, but managed to record at least Esh's Breachstone (because why not), so here it is:

Oh missed the question about your char. Well, the easiest way to get a lot of strength is on belt, otherwise your char looks pretty good imo. But also, you can just replace Steelskin with something else, its not that important, it is mostly just filler and I wasnt able to think of anything better. Low level CWDT + IC is decent too.

Can you explain the watcher's eye more?

The jewel in pob has a "malevolence workaround" section - what does that mean? Does that mean look for a rare with that if we can't get the WE?

Nope, that workaround is just reworded Watcher's Eye mods on that WE so PoB understand them.

If you can't get WE (but, just the poison mod alone should be pretty cheap), just get another life + chaos damage rare jewel, or abyss jewel with life and possibly phys damage to bow attacks

So, based on 3.7.3 patch notes we will be hopefully getting support for poison prolif for legions, what would be awesome!

Love your guide, man. Easily got myself into the 80s with only a few slight variants in item usage/passives.

Curious though- In your PoB you have Coralito's. Why do you also take Perfect Agony on the passive tree? It seems like I have pretty close to full uptime on that flask when I am clearing.
