3.7| Stress Free PoE - SLOW-MO ZOMBIES |Clear the Atlas with YOUR Items at YOUR Pace (SSF & Co-op)

Change Log:

K. Made a couple more changes than I expected:
-I removed the Pros and Cons section
-I updated the Passive Tree links to PoE's website
-I added a link to the mobile app I use for building builds
-I updated the pastebins (from the earlier changes I made a while ago)
-I updated the two All Builds filters to accommodate the new gear from the new guide I just posted.
-I added a new guide to the list of Other Guides.

As always, let me know if you see any errors.

So I tested for several days to play with the "Mon'tregul's Grasp" and without with 5 links, and maps between T11/T14.

1) Mon'tregul's Grasp is much better and more fun to complete maps because of explosions that cause more DPS

2) You must have 12 Zombies in total, to get 6 Zombies with the Mon'tregul's Grasp (-50%)

3) Mon'tregul's Grasp is very cheap, try to apply a Vaal Orb to get a good enchantment (15% Cast Speed for example, very nice for the skeletons)

4) For bosses, no explosion possible so 12 Zombies is better ... but however the damage with the Mon'tregul's Grasp are quite good

5) The zombies with Mon'tregul's Grasp are immortal, mana is no longer a problem

I am still loving this build although I need to work on my gear again as I am dying a lot recently as I move into yellow maps. My gear is pretty meh and there's lots I can do to get better so I know for sure it is a gear issue and not a build issue. :)

I'm looking at finally getting to the last lab (one more trial to find) and I was looking at Commander of Darkness and am curious what makes that the choice over Puppet Master? Does the +20% resistances go on top of the 75%? Can we let our gear resistances go down a bit and count on that to always be going or is that something else?

Thanks again for making a build that finally got me to be able to play a necro!

Edit: Found answer in the guide about resists - early game where I am they don't need them but I assume you pick this because later they will start dying without it? Puppet Master looks really good so I assume there must be a really good reason for this choice I just can't figure it out for sure on my own. :)

Hey Jenarie,

Good job finding it out! You're correct, the resists are only for the minions because of Generosity Support but having your Zombies with max resists is critical for their survival in the center of the Atlas.

In DPS Land with the current setup and with no items, the Zombie Slame does 45'000 DPS. If you replace Commander of Darkness with Puppet Master the DPS goes to 47'000. So for the 2000 DPS difference I went with the valuable resist. But the extra 20% extra Minion Movement Speed (from Puppet Master) is very valuable too.

If Puppet Master is where your itch is, scratch it ;). If the zombies start dying too much, just respec.

Good post!

This is my second character that I started with your build and then kinda went off the rails in my own direction. I play a lot slower than most people and since I'm on PS4 I have issues with blue screens and lag, but I love the idea behind this build! I tried other movement skills but settled this league on Shield Charge. I could use some suggestions on where to improve. Flask-wise I know I could do better (the mana flask is almost entirely exclusive to bringing up my zombies when I log in). I want a 6L body armor but I've had all kinds of bad luck (and spending a fortune in links and divination cards trying to get one). I do fairly well with my current 5L.

I could never get the hang of the offerings, but I'm currently using Clayshaper to put a chaos golem and an earth golem into play. From what I understand, buffs don't stack on the golems so I figured a level 12 earth and a (currently level 19) chaos golem would mix better than two earth golems supported by speed or some such.

The helm gives me two relics, which seem to help. For the most part, I charge around the map and let my army alternate between cleaning up after me and going ahead of me when i add skeletons. I have 12 zombies, 2 relics, the chaos golem, and the earth golem as stable minions with 12 more skeletons I can add in. Emergencies (and Delving stops, boss fights) I pop the Vaal Skeletons for another ~39 skeletons. At that point, I usually charge out and hit flasks because my screen starts to slideshow.

For the first time with this build, I got a 6L (In fact, 7 because I bought a body armor (Int) 6L for 40 Chaos and I craft with fossils to get Maim level 1)

I beat Phoenix (T16) for the first time, unfortunately I died two or three times against the boss because I did not really know the fight, I think Shield Charge is not the best option for this fight but I did it !

The Sony realm is currently down (for a patch), so until another time, just look to have 75+ life on all your "non-weapon" gear (not sure how much you have on your tree...do you know how much life% you have?) and obviously make sure your resists are capped. Besides that, if you have the Prefix free on your weapon(s), helmet, chest, and gloves, add minion mods via the crafting bench. It's really that simple with minions.

I'm using a 5 link as well. Until all 6 of my guide builds are all setup properly, I'm won't be risking too much currency on gear.

Correct. Golem buffs don't stack. So good call on two golems.

I love two relics. Sweet. Sounds like you have a good setup! Console is pretty laggy in busy places like Delve and Breach. Hopefully they figure it out someday. But it's still fantastic.

Thanks for the great post.

Congrats on the 6 link! I'm still waiting for mine. It looks really good. Nice rolls.

Congrats on the Phoenix boss! That one is tricky to learn. Lots of unique mechanics as the battle progresses and a huge AoE to constantly avoid that makes it hard to observe the battle. Great job! Shield Charge is one of those that I assume you'd just charge in, apply the melee stuff, then charge out again.

Great job on all of it!
