Everyone here will play D3 at some point. A few who thought they would hate it, will absolutely love it. I've seen this kind of backlash many times before and I've seen what happens afterward. Heck, you could look at D2 for a good example. i.e. OMG run button? What!? skill trees!? etc. etc... PoE isn't without it's own issues. For one, most of the skills are terribly designed. I've found only a few that are any fun to use and so it's just a matter of finding the right skill tree configuration, but other than that, the builds are very limited. I'm not really interested in re-levelling the same character several times just to get a few passive points right. And that's a problem for me, because I think the heart and soul of these games should be fun skills and fun game play, not navigating a skill tree. An important consideration for replying to what I posted, was within what I quoted... which was talking about builds based on what we've seen out of beta thus far. Point being, I don't believe that down the road builds will matter in D3, at all, due to the way they've been structured. This means there will be very little sway between what is sub-optimal vs. what is a superior build... such dynamic aspects (player ingenuity vs. game options) have been effectively thrown away. Not planning on dishing out 60 for a game that can't be modded and has always-on DRM. EVERYONE here is all like "o people are gonns say d3 sucks and in a few months will all play PoE durhurhur" Once someone says the opposite you all go agro on him? That's completely stupid.
