i started with this build too, was looking on poedb info for affixes to do a better bow than lioneye later and i can't find vicious projectiles anymore, maybe ggg remove it?

is a bit hard to survive sindicate especially due to the high damage they do on maps but the build is very easy to use and very cheap for mapping and for some bosses too :)

In general a VERY GOOD +2 VP bow will give you same damage as Lioneye's Glare.

They killed Quill Rain for end-game, but it can be still used for levelling and while mapping, there's still PLENTY of damage left. In the end-game, when you get enough attack speed i can definitely recommend Lioneye's Glare or a + Vicious Projectiles Elder Bow.
