How would you modify gem setup and/or passive skill tree if you are using guards instead of fire-eaters?

Just tested: Flame dash can jump gaps in game like broken bridges. Frostblink no.

is weapon swapping to get higher lvl spectres from desecrate no longer viable?

I'm sure it's been confirmed, but you can get fire eaters in 'the coast' right outside of town, you don't have to go to the ledge either. Just did it about 2 minutes ago. This is fantastic.

dont need faster casting linked to flame dash anymore.
could put convocation in its place to drop an unset ring for easier gearing.
or move dash+zealotry links to shield, cwdt+phase run link into boots with added inc duration

NOTE: Storm Brand and Flame Dash should be 1/20

One thing i would like to ask. It seems the weapon you crafted looks expensive if you choose to buy the "trigger gems on spell" craft and cant craft it by yourself.

If you craft a sceptre by yourself with the minion damage, it seems (according to the wiki atleast) that you can maxcraft 80% minion damage on a 1hand. How do you manage to to get 90% on them?
It looks cheaper to try to craft the damage on it, use 2ex and get some craft bench service for minion attack/cast speed and the trigger craft.

80% is from bound fossil.

90-95% is from the temple - hybridisation chamber. It's not a guaranteed drop, though.

You can buy it from trade. I just bought this for 7c. It's got an open prefix and suffix. So I'll just put trigger (4c) on this until I can afford to remove the suffixes and multi craft (4ex+)


You can save some currency and get any other 1-hander. They sell for 1c. Profane wands are a bit more expensive because of the 14% cast speed.

The only important thing is the trigger craft. I paid 20c for it in flashback, but the price in league should be lower since there are so many people playing atm.

If you want to trigger EE without having to cast storm brand, then you'll need a wand with added cold/light damage.

Looks like it's available a few levels later. I'll update the walkthrough.

It's more of a benefit when you switch to storm brand because it gives a chance to freeze.
